Your responsibilities

Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualifications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate’s own academic work.

Teaching tasks include the supervision of bachelor and master theses, as well as the preparation of and contribution to lectures, tutorials, and seminars.

Our main research topics are pricing and sales promotions. In our empirical research, we measure the effects of these marketing instruments and derive recommendations for their optimal use, especially for consumer goods and media products.

We offer a well-grounded scientific education, intensive supervision and practice-oriented work in an international scientific environment. The teaching obligation is 3 hours per week during 30 weeks per year.


Your profile

A university degree in a relevant field.

We expect very good grades in a degree related to business administration, the ambition to produce excellent outcomes in research and teaching, and a very good command of the English language. In addition, practical experience with respect to marketing models and marketing research as well as sound knowledge of statistics/econometrics are of advantage.
