Weekly hours: 65 % of standard work hours per week
Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualifications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate’s own academic work.
The Institute for Islamic Theology is part of the newly established Department of Religions within the Faculty of Humanities. The institute is currently in the process of being established and offers a dynamic and engaging work environment. You will be affiliated with the Professorship for Islamic Theology, with a focus on research and teaching in the field of Islamic textual studies (Qur’an and Hadith). Your responsibilities include:
