Your responsibilities
Duties primarily include teaching and research. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
- establishing CRISPR-Cas9 technologies in the fungal pathogens
- molecular cloning and fungal transformation
- plant infection assays
- support teaching (2,6 LVS) in course Masters in Plant Science (MOPS)
Your profile
A university degree in a relevant field.
- doctorate desirable
- experienced in
- CRISPR-Cas9 technologies, guide-RNA design, molecular cloning
- microbiology, fungal cultivation and Botrytis cinerea transformation
- molecular biology, DNA/RNA isolation, qRT-PCR, recombinant protein purification
- confocal microscopy for host-pathogen interaction studies
- supervising BSc and MSc students
- fluent in English
